This website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, accounts, or marketing cookies. Fonts and artwork are served from our own domain.

Cloudflare handles website traffic for delivery and security. It may process network information, including IP addresses, and use security cookies to protect the service. Cloudflare’s privacy policy explains its processing.

Our web server records request paths, IP addresses, response codes and timestamps for troubleshooting and security. Website access logs are rotated daily and retained for up to 14 days.

Connecting to Freeroam

The launcher contacts our services for signed client updates, server availability and game resources. The game server receives connection information and the player name you choose. Server and resource behaviour may change during early access.

The community forum

forum.playm2.net runs Discourse on our VPS behind Cloudflare. During commissioning, public registration and posting are disabled. Reading the forum generates network requests and security/access logs; Discourse may use necessary session and preference cookies. There are no advertising trackers.

When accounts open, Discourse will store your chosen username, email address, password hash, posts, uploads and account/moderation activity. Public posts and profile information can be read by other visitors. Your email address is not a public profile field. Do not post information you want to keep private.

Forum access logs rotate daily with up to 14 days of retention. Operational application logs and moderation records are separate. Daily forum backups are configured with seven retained copies; an initial encrypted off-VPS snapshot is kept for recovery. Before registration opens, we will publish the working contact route and finalized account-data retention and deletion details.
